Looking for a shorter, spring wildflower hike through gentle terrain? Join Docent Naturalists Laura Levin, Emma Finter, and Marie-Anne Neimat for a leisurely-paced morning along the Zinfandel Trail. You’ll stop frequently to discuss the preserve’s agricultural history, geology, flora, and fauna. If the seasonal pond is full, you may find an abundance of newts engaging in an aquatic mating frenzy. After the hike you’ll have the option of relaxing in the shaded picnic area or exploring the historic winery grounds on your own.
