In this workshop, participants will create a self-portrait following a guided step-by-step process. Following that, they will answer a list of questions that are designed to stimulate self-awareness and connection to intuition. The third step in this process is to include the fruits of self-inquiry into a final portrait of themselves. In a supportive and respectful environment participants will explore their personal story and expand self-awareness and self-expression. Participants will have an opportunity to present their work to the group. This workshop is open to anyone interested in exploring themselves through creativity. By creating a healing self-portrait, participants will be encouraged to cultivate their imagination in order to tap into feelings, experiences, and perceptions of the world and their place in it. Through this process and in sharing one’s story with others, participants may experience less stress by finding a deeper sense of self-acceptance.
