Field Day event at the top of Sears Ranch Rd. Over the course of 48 hours we'll set up long distance antennas (HF), radios, food and shelter entirely off the grid. SC4 Amateur Radio Club welcomes visitors to see how this is done and learn about ham radio.

We like to have fun in our club, but this is also a training and practical exercise in providing radio communications in the event of an emergency or disaster.

Predictions for severe weather this summer and winter are good reasons to get to know our local ham radio operators and maybe consider getting a license and radio yourself. We can help with that!
